Wall-mounted thermostatic mixer set for bathtub/shower with Acqua Stop System, 2/3 way diverter and cylindrical hand shower Ø 18 mm.
The taps collection, made of AISI 316L stainless steel, is available with progressive, dual handle and thermostatic mixers. It was inspired by the pure and archetypal forms of the circle. Designed to ensure maximum compositional freedom thanks to the ductility of the collection, GIOTTO is an expression of aesthetic and functional consistency. The THERMOSTATIC variant of the collection is equipped with the ACQUA STOP system, a CEADESIGN industrial innovation patent, thanks to which it is possible to carry out maintenance on or replacement of the cartridge without having to shut off the main water supply. These taps are completed with the GIOTTO accessories collection, in which the form of the circle is repeated several times, emphasising the concept of perfection.
The AISI 316L STAINLESS STEEL is an alloy with a reduced content of carbon, universally recognised for the characteristics of hygiene and excellent resistance to the corrosion of external agents, particularly suitable for saline and sulphurous environments. The AISI 316L stainless steel does not rust in contact with water or air but creates a particularly resistant natural protective film. CEA cold works the steel and therefore maintains unchanged the characteristics of resistance of the alloy. All CEA products are not processed with galvanic treatments in compliance with the sustainability principles that characterise the company’s philosophy. That is why the AISI 316L stainless steel is an eco-friendly, completely recyclable material, a-toxic and highly hygienic.
All the products of the GIOTTO collection are available in satin and polished finish, obtain by a mechanical process, and in all CEA’s SPECIAL FINISHES (Black Diamond, Bronze, Copper and Light Gold). Special finishes treatments, made on customer demand, are the result of an accurate work of chromatic choice and technological development that is based on a high thickness deposition of mixtures of zirconium powder and graphite. Through an evaporation process into vacuum chambers (plasma), the powders go from a vapour phase and then back to a thin film condensed phase. In this way, the steel surface is even more resistant against cleaning agents and salty air and makes the surfaces anti-scratch. In the Black Diamond finish, the surface is also protected from calcareous deposits, thanks to the self-lubricating feature that allows you to keep the product clean longer. The CEA special finishes emphasise the unique properties of AISI 316L stainless steel, increasing the gloss and hardness of its surface. All CEA special finishes are ecological and biocompatible. For special finish products, the wire in steel fibre is available only in steel finish; alternatively, the product can be customised with silicone rubber in our nine colours’ range.
GIOTTO can also be personalised with handles in 4 different WOOD ESSENCES: Canaletto Walnut, Burma Teak, Oak and Wenge. Mature, solid wood sourced from certified forests is treated with patented water-based and solvent-free varnishes. Similarly to stainless steel, the wood also stands out for its hardness, together with an excellent degree of stability in the presence of humidity or extreme temperatures and resistance to acidic and saline solutions. These characteristics also make our products ideal for the marine environment. Independently of the choice of wood, the spout and the cover plate always remain in stainless steel satin, polished and black diamond finish.
HOSE IN STAINLESS STEEL
The wire in steel fibre has been traditionally used for CEA handshowers. Made of AISI 316L stainless steel, it is characterised by a considerable mechanical strength and resistance towards corrosion by external agents. The hose in steel guarantees a perfect pressure seal, together with remarkable resistance to the stresses resulting from use.
HOUSE IN SILICONE RUBBER
Especially light and flexible, the silicone rubber is mainly used for hand-showers as an alternative to the tubes in steel fibre. Widely employed in the medical field, thanks to its peculiarities of hygiene, resistance to chemical harms and to limescale deposits, it is particularly suitable to the bathroom environment. The characteristics of resistance to thermal stress (from -55 °C to +200 °C), oxidation and tear (due to sudden pressure changes) allow an extended use in time and guarantee colour persistence, even in outdoor installations. The silicone rubber used by CEA is obtained through processing into pulp, available in a wide range of colours.
